Meet Dr. Lichtenberg

Dr. Mark S. Lichtenberg, MD is a board-certified dermatologist providing comprehensive medical dermatology care at Contemporary Dermatology’s Basking Ridge, New Jersey location. With more than 40 years of clinical experience, he offers expert evaluation and treatment of a wide range of skin conditions, including shingles, psoriasis, acne, and other common and complex dermatologic disorders.

Dr. Lichtenberg is known for his thoughtful, patient-centered approach and commitment to evidence-based care. He focuses on accurate diagnosis, clear communication, and individualized treatment plans, building long-term relationships with patients at every stage of life.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

Dr. Lichtenberg earned his medical degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. He completed his internship at Interfaith Medical Center, followed by residency training in Internal Medicine at One Brooklyn Health System/Interfaith Medical Center. He then completed a Dermatology residency at New York-Presbyterian Hospital–Columbia Campus, where he received advanced training in medical and surgical dermatology.
