Marie Chen, MS, PA-C

Marie Chen, MS, PA-C, is a dermatology-focused Physician Assistant providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and select cosmetic dermatology care. She brings more than 20 years of clinical experience and is committed to delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care.

Ms. Chen evaluates and treats a wide range of dermatologic conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, shingles, and skin cancer. She performs in-office procedures such as shave, punch, and excisional biopsies, cryotherapy, wound repairs, and excisions of dysplastic nevi and non-melanoma skin cancers.

Her clinical interests include complex medical dermatology and the use of advanced therapies such as isotretinoin, biologic agents, and JAK inhibitors. Ms. Chen also offers select cosmetic services, including neurotoxin injections, fillers, chemical peels, laser treatments, and treatment of hyperhidrosis.

Ms. Chen values clear communication and long-term patient relationships and works collaboratively with the Contemporary Dermatology team to provide coordinated care.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

Ms. Chen earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science.

Ms. Chen is a licensed and certified Physician Assistant in New Jersey and New York and is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the New Jersey Society of Physician Assistants.
